I came across an assortment of things. Things I did in high school and would never want to do for spare cash again.

The process of generating a side income isn't a one time thing. If that were the case then bank robber would be a popular past time for struggling adults. The Mindset of wanting a quick fix and a home run to the bank is not a healthy one. That type of thinking will get you stuck in situations you rather not be in.

So instead of trying to hit the home run let's learn the first point of how to make extra money – Don't do the things you hate.how to make extra money

I know that sounds pretty simple but many people I know continue doing the things they hate to generate some income. Some are stuck in that position and refuse to get out dude to being comfortable with their uncomfortable situation, if that makes any sense.

I mean, why work as a janitor if you hate cleaning? The quick response from a janitor would be some excuse that it's not too bad and the hours are good.

How To Make Extra Money – Get Paid What Your Worth

No one aspires to be a janitor.

Now maybe owning a janitorial service is another thing but that's the whole employee vs employer mindset.  Learning how to make extra money is the process of moving your mental state from “it's okay” to “I'm worth more”.

I believe self worth makes up a big part of what your capable of doing in life. I'm not going to say that only the high paying gigs are worth it but if you were to weight out the options it becomes pretty apparent that you will either do what you have passion for or you will do what pays you what your worth.

Too many do neither and that's just plain sad.

To work a job that underpays and you have no passion for is not how to live your life. We all get into situations we wish you could get out of but instead of wishing let's do something about it.

So the firs tip is to acknowledge if you hate what you do for a living make corrective actions to change where you are. That's a pretty simple step. Before you can get to a destination you need to envision where you want to go.

Some of the things that makes us different from animals are some basic things like we have opposable  thumbs. Yeah, sounds weak but being able to grab things has changed the way the human race has grown as a collective. I mean can you imagine not being to use your thumb?

Another thing that makes us different is free thinking. When was the last time your dog was contemplating the difference of eating white rice vs brown rice for nutritional and taste purposes.  Our minds are a super weapon. What you can think of can be ground breaking IF you unshackle your mind.

Stop putting up road blocks in your mind and start to break out and think.

How To Make Extra Money – Use Your Brain Or Zombies Will

If you have seen zombie movies before, zombies are always trying to eat brains. My assumption to the whole thing to why a dead creature would want to devour your brain is that the brain is the priceless piece to your body. You can get heard, lungs, kidney transplants but have you seen a brain zombiestransplant?

I mean even if they could pull that off you would be a totally different person. What's in your mind differentiates you from everyone else to how you feel and how you reason. I mean does your heart feel love of does your mind interpret what love is and then sends that warm and fuzzy through your body.

Let's use our full potential and dive into what our mind can do for us.

Put your BRAIN to work!

You have abused your knees, back, wrists, and neck for all these years doing physical labor. Let's do some intellectual labor.

Let's exercise your mind.

I know a lot of you who come here are looking for ideas to starting your own business. That's fine and grand. I understand why and am doing the same.

But……

There is one HUGE difference in the way I approach my business and those that read my blog or attend my bootcamp trainings.

Starting Your Own Business – Habits Tell The Story

I'm like the every other guy you knew in school. Did okay in school, but rather would be outside playing or doing something else besides sticking my nose into a book.

Look, I get that. I understand the dread to “learning something new”.

But here is the deal and if you have never heard of this then please absorb this.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

If you hate your job, if you hate your income, if you hate not buying things, if you hate being in debt, if you hate not being able to travel, if you hate not being able to give back to the community, if you hate not tithing, if you hate not being able to build water wells, if you hate not being able to sponsor a needy child, if you hate not being able to pay you college loan off, if you hate not being able to pay for your kids tuition,  if you hate not buying a new ride, if you hate not being able to take care of your parents and inlaws……

List can go on and on and I know for a fact many of you complain all day about finances but I've seen you sit at home with a beer in your hand watching TV for 4 hours a night. Really?

That's what it has come to?

Hey, I vegetate too but not to every single night while letting the important things in life just get swept under the rug with a buzz to soothe you through the night.

I'm not here to mold minds or make you want it.

YOU have to want it.

Starting Your Own Business – Want It BADLY Then Push For It

Just because you want to change your habits doesn't mean you will be instantly successful. Buying into a business doesn't mean you will start rolling in money the next day.

Unlike a 8-5 job, a business is one where you must run it like a machine. Give it what it needs and grow it. Scale it up. Multiple your success.

If your starting your own business I Highly suggest you learn how to market that business. I don't care what business your in, but if you think you can have a high rate of success just because the product or service can sell itself then your in for a rude awakening.

You need traffic and you need customers.

How?

Generate Traffic to a website. Generate Traffic to your selling point. Generate Traffic to your high converting sales pages.

But it all boils down to

experiences. Be it from real estate to stock trader the person driving the ship, the captain, normally has some special skills they have developed over time that allows them to be successful.

Of course you will have the ones that have no skill set except have a ton of money but that in itself has it's own particular traits. Being an investor takes a lot skills that most people don't have like for one… Balls.

If your new to working for yourself and you have always had someone “boss you around” and your looking for an outlet I would highly recommend before you start looking for that best business to start to go ahead and start to invest in yourself.

You need to figure out what makes you tick. Having passion for a business goes a long way. Sure it's not necessary but most businesses fail because of the lack of cash flow but if you have a passion for your industry you will stick in for the long run.

Article Marketing Strategy – Fear No Pandas

So the past couple days I've been looking at what the Google Panda update has been doing to 25% of my sites and it just doesn't make me happy and why I have altered my article marketing strategy to fight back.article marketing strategy

25% of my sites have gotten 90% of their traffic demolished. zip, nil, destroyed.

Not a happy feeling.

so what did I do? I went head on and attacked the Google panda update to see what I can get out of it.

Look, how can you be angry at something that looks as cute as that?

Google has it's theories on what their clients want and as a marketer we are always looking to find how they rank. The key so SEO is understanding you can NOT be afraid of Google. They are the gatekeeper to a LOT of traffic and that traffic has a lot of customers with credit card in hand.

Instead of thinking of the Panda update as a menacing bear think of it as a little bear on a rocking toy 😉

So the panda took it's first couple shots at me and took me down to nothing for 25% of my sites. I'm not going to cry and give up.  The strong survive. It's survival of the fittest and I'm not laying down and getting stomped on.

Develop a rock solid mental state that you will NOT give up. Continue to learn and test. Test and Learn.

The process of life long change is repeated actions that work towards a defined goal. If you have your goal, then work towards it regardless of the bumps and bruises you get along the way.

Article Marketing Strategy – Pump Up The Articles

It's generally useless if your just hitting up content only to leave it there for the google bots to pick up. If your not doing ANY OFF Page SEO it's all for nothing. See, the most beautiful women in the world will never be found unless someone broadcasts her whereabouts. Essentially, it's all about the marketing of your content.

If you think about this, a great marketer can make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t.

But that's not what your gearing to do. You are here for a long term business. One that continues to grow and get more traffic. Organic search hits is only one source of traffic and if you have great content you will start to get Referral and direct traffic.

How?

Great content found with organic search could potentially go viral. If your content goes viral you will get a ton of traffic that spawns from referral sites and your traffic takes on a totally different look. One that is totally organic as it grows through syndication methods.

You need to do the basic steps of:

  1. Keyword Research
  2. Great Content
  3. On Page SEO
  4. Off Page SEO

Article Marketing Tips – Face Punch A Panda

Here are some article marketing tips I found after reading some test studies from people who use UAW.

Before I dive into the testing of another user I wanted to touch on the Google Panda issue. For most the Google Panda was supposed to target content farms and essentially bring down no value adsense sites. Now no value is subjective but in the end duplicate sites and auto-blogs were supposed to be de-ranked and allow valuable sites to make it to the top.

The Event happened April 2011 and 25% of my sites got gobbled up by the panda.
